2) Information We Collect

You share data directly through forms, messages, and uploads. During service, we create records related to diagnostics and repairs. We also collect limited technical data automatically to keep the site working and secure.

What you share

  • Contact & estimates: name, email, phone, preferred date/time, and notes about your request.
  • Vehicle details: year, make, model, VIN, plate, mileage, and service history you choose to share.
  • Images & documents: photos of the vehicle/damage or documents sent for quoting or scheduling.
  • Insurance coordination: carrier and claim details when you ask us to coordinate.
  • Payments: limited billing details processed by our payment provider. RAC does not store full card numbers.

Records we create during service

  • Work records: quotes, work orders, invoices, and warranty records.
  • Diagnostics & ADAS: scan reports, calibration results, photos, and related metadata tied to your vehicle.

3) How We Use Your Information

RAC does not sell or rent personal information. Instead, we use data to provide and improve services.

  • Provide service: respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, schedule visits, and perform repairs.
  • Operate safely: run diagnostics, complete repairs, and document ADAS calibrations.
  • Communicate: send updates about appointments, work status, and service reminders.
  • Process payments: issue invoices and receipts through our payment processor.
  • Improve & protect: maintain the website, analyze performance, and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • Comply with law: meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations.

4) Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent data. However, limited sharing occurs in the situations below. Additionally, vendors must follow confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

  • Service providers: hosting/CDN, IT support, diagnostics/ADAS platforms, secure file storage, and payment processors.
  • Insurance & partners: coordination that you request or that is required to fulfill your service.
  • Legal compliance: disclosures required by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect safety and rights.
  • Business transfers: we may transfer information if RAC enters a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

5) Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described—or as law requires. Therefore, periods vary:

  • Leads & inquiries (not converted): up to 24 months.
  • Quotes, work orders, invoices, tax records: generally 7 years.
  • Diagnostics/ADAS reports: typically 5 years to support safety and warranty documentation.
  • Photos & media: job life plus up to 5 years, unless longer is required for compliance.
  • Analytics data: per tool configuration (for example, GA4 up to 14 months by default).

6) Your Privacy Rights

7) Cookies & Tracking

Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a child’s data was submitted, please contact us so we can delete it.

11) International Visitors (GDPR)

For EEA/UK visitors, processing may rely on contract performance, legitimate interests (security, improvement, documentation), consent (marketing/cookies), and legal obligation (tax/compliance). 12) California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

  • Categories: identifiers (contact info), commercial information (service history), internet activity (analytics), geolocation (approximate), plus vehicle/insurance details when necessary.
  • Sale/Sharing: RAC does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent via the cookie banner.

13) “Do Not Track”
